Satoshi Iwakami obtained his PhD from Kyoto University (2013). After working as a postdoctoral fellow at Bayer CropScience (2014-2015) and as an assistant professor at University of Tsukuba (2015-2016), he was appointed his current position (2016). His main research interest is the mechanisms of herbicide resistance in weeds and their diversity. L-INSIGHT exits in January 2024.
