In 2019, Miho Saito completed the Doctoral Program in the Graduate School of Science at Kyoto University, obtaining a Ph.D. in Science. Following this, she worked as a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Postdoctoral Fellow (PD) and a Researcher at the Kyoto City Zoo. Current position since 2022. To construct a new animal conservation framework that reinterprets in- and ex-situ conservations in line with the more fluid conservation activities in Africa, she is studying elucidating the variability of anti-predator strategies during the rearing period of giraffes.
