Objective

The Kyoto Roundtable was established in FY2024 through the initiative of Kyoto University, together with scholars and researchers from Japan, Australia, and India (hereafter, AIJ), to promote collaborative research among these three nations. In FY2025, Kyoto University is hosting a week-long programme in conjunction with the new AIJ Seed Funding Initiative, designed to foster synergetic partnerships and encourage sustained academic engagement within the broader Indo-Pacific region.

This year’s Roundtable provides a platform for discussing and sharing key outputs related to ‘Commonalities and Strengths among Research Domains within AIJ’, with an emphasis on collaborator complementarity.
