Midori YASUI is an assistant professor in the Department of Environmental Engineering at Kyoto University. She received her Ph.D. degree at the University of Tokyo in 2023. She was a recipient of a Research Fellowship for Young Scientists of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). She stayed at Michigan State University as a short-term scholar in 2022. Her research focused on microbe removal in drinking water treatment systems.
